Good.

It is Easter once more, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to sing my Savior’s praises today! He is so good. When there is nothing good in me, He is good. When we were dead in our sin, He chose to display his goodness and love by dying on a cross to save us. He is good. We can trust in His promises, because He is good. Need I say it again? Yes, He’s good.

Take Heart.

Hello, my friends! Easter is once more upon us. It is the approximate anniversary of our Savior’s death, His resurrection, and His victory. The Lord has lately been teaching me that we as Christians have nothing to fear because He has overcome all evil and death. In John 16:33, Jesus says, “I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart. I have overcome the world.” Recently, I read both Foxe’s Book of Martyrs and The Hiding Place; in both books, believers are hurt, ridiculed, and persecuted– they constantly “have trouble.” But oh how they trust and rejoice in God! As the old hymn says, ’tis so sweet to trust in Jesus. In Him, we may have peace. Take heart, because death is a defeated foe, because Christ has overcome the world!

Here is my Easter dress that I made. I tried to make it look like this one.

Happy Easter!

Jesus is alive! I’m so glad to be forgiven and to have the hope of eternity with my Lord. I can hardly believe Jesus chose to humble himself to live on this earth and suffer the worst death imaginable. But He did. And He rose again on the third day! An interesting thing someone told me is that Jesus is the only person to ever be resurrected. He raised many people from the dead, but they all died again. He rose from the dead to NEVER DIE!

And He said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts arise in your hearts? 39 See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Touch me, and see. For a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have.” 40 And when he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet.   Luke 24:38-40

This is my nicest dress ever--- I actually lined it!
